This is responsible administrative, managerial, supervisory and technical work in directing the personnel, activities, and functions of the Transit Maintenance Unit, both directly and through front line supervisors. Under the general supervision of the Transit Service Manager, the employee must exercise considerable judgment and discretion in directing the effective procurement, maintenance and repair of transit vehicles and mechanical equipment, and the buildings and grounds facilities and transit system.
Metro Transit in Madison, WI is hiring an IS Coordinator. This is an advanced level professional, supervisory position responsible for Metro Transit’s technology initiatives through planning, development, coordination, implementation and operation of diverse automated information systems and services. This position will integrate new technology and software applications in accordance with City technology standards and policies; as well as manage vendor, interagency and peer relationships. The position also involves soliciting, procuring, and directing vendors and consultants that serve Metro Transit technology needs.
Green Bay Metro is seeking an Operations Supervisor to assist with planning, coordinating and managing the transit operations. Operations Supervisors supervise dispatchers and bus operators, monitor the on-street performance of all buses, assist with changes to bus routes and schedules, and conduct training.
Qualified candidates will possess the following qualifications:
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday. Shift rotates on a monthly basis; 5:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.; 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m. Every third week, a Monday is scheduled off and a Saturday is worked. Plus additional hours as required including various times for Packer game day routes.
Hiring Range: $59,300-$61,027
